1.Boiler shall preferably be of a construction and size commercially proven in comparable applications (furnace heat release, service conditions and combustion gas flow passage configuration in connection with fuels adopted).
2.Reliability must have a very high priority and shall take precedence over all requirements other than safety and statutory requirements.
3.For boiler design, arrangements to made for ash separation, collection, cooling, removal and safe disposal.
4.For boiler design, arrangements to made for clinkers handling, removal and safe disposal.
5.The vendor shall specify the maximum continuous operating days and on stream factor of Boiler in a year.
6.Coal System:
The coal system shall include all the requirements necessary to ensure safe, efficient, trouble free, continuous and clean working environment conditions.
·Coal size reduction facility along with its feeding arrangements (including feeding hoppers) to the boiler with proper standby arrangements.
·Lime handling and feeding facility.
7.Ash System:
The boiler shall be equipped with the following:
·Ash separators/ collectors.
·Ash cooling facility.
·Ash disposal arrangements upto its storage facility.
Electrostatic Precipitator (electrostatic dust collector) upto 99.9% efficiency to control emissions and particulate matter from flue gases routed to the boiler stack
